This project has been completed in march 2005 at El Alto, next to La Paz, Bolivia. We have used only what could be bought locally, and built the two solar panels from scrap. The goal was to build a system that could be maintained easily. The total 3 square meters area heats 250 liters of water. This shower system comes in addition with two other classical bolivian electric showers in this center for street children, and aims to reduce the electricity bill.
